Winter & Spring 2008 Seminar Series

The Behavioral and Social Sciences Research Coordinating Committee (BSSR CC), with support from the Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (OBSSR), convenes a series of guest lectures and symposia on selected topics in the behavioral and social sciences. These presentations by prominent behavioral and social scientists provide the NIH community with overviews of current research on topics of scientific and social interest. The lectures and symposia are approximately 50 minutes in length, with additional time for questions and discussion. All seminars are open to NIH staff and to the general public.  

The Seminar Series take place at the following locations:

• Neuroscience Center: 6001 Executive Boulevard, Rockville MD
  Parking is available for a modest fee to all.  There is no parking validation.  *DIRECTIONS.

• Natcher Conference Center: 45 Center Drive, Building 45 on the NIH main campus, Bethesda MD

• Wilson Hall: 1 Center Drive, Building 1 (Shannon Building) on the NIH main campus, Bethesda MD

 
Visitor Information

Parking at the NIH main campus is very limited.  Use of public transportation is strongly advised (visit the public transportation trip planner).  Both Wilson Hall and the Natcher Conference Center are short walks from the Medical Center Metro rail & bus stations.
