Christina Branch, B.S., MBA.
Secretary

Christina Bailey is a Secretary in the Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (OBSSR) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where she manages daily operations. Ms. Bailey handles all administrative duties for the office, supporting a staff of 13. She is also the assistant to the director, handling all scheduling and travel needs. Her duties include: purchasing and requisitions; managing reimbursements; coordinating domestic and international travel, scheduling meetings and conferences; coordinating program activities at annual budget retreat; and, processing correspondence and telephone inquiries. She leverages her relationships with outside vendors and Institute personnel to facilitate OBSSR’s daily operations and is proficient in a variety of computer applications and in-house systems, such as the NIH Business System (NBS) and GovTrip Travel Systems.

With 15 years of administrative support experience in a variety of industries, Ms. Bailey brings her commitment to detail and organization to every task. Prior to joining OBSSR in 2008, Christina was a program administrator in at Alion Science and Technology, a marine engineering architecture company where she supported the vice president and on-site staff, as well as staff at four regional offices across the United States.

Christina completed her education at the University of Maryland University College, College Park, MD with a B.S. in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
