Behavioral and Social Sciences and COVID-19

An NIH-wide planning group led by the National Cancer Institute and OBSSR convenes a panel of leaders in the social and behavioral sciences and in public health to summarize evidence-informed communication strategies in support of national coronavirus vaccine distribution efforts across federal agencies and their state and local partners. The expert panel releases its report, COVID-19 Vaccination Communication: Applying Behavioral and Social Science to Address Vaccine Hesitancy and Foster Vaccine Confidence.

Additionally, OBSSR develops a tip sheet for communicating about COVID Vaccinations titled, "A Communicator’s Tip Sheet for COVID-19 Vaccination."
