Assignment for July 10, 2007: Prepare detailed description of the nature of your community partnership and its 2-3 specific aims. Include a careful and detailed explanation of how ideas will be elicited from community stakeholders. Also, prepare an updated statement of the significance of your project, both from your own perspective as a scientist and the perspective of community partners. Prepare a plan of action that includes both faculty investigators and community partners.

If possible, model these relationships graphically. Develop a table that describes the variables that you will use to measure the central constructs that you will be using. If your study is quantitative, cite references that demonstrate the reliability and validity of your chosen measures. |

Assignment for July 13, 2007: Prepare 5-10 Power Point slides of your proposal and submit them electronically by 8:00 p.m. In addition, two to three volunteers will revise their entire proposals and submit them by E-mail by the same deadline.
