Application Process and Receipt Date
Applicants must submit the following electronically to Ms. Cathy Troxler(TroxlerC@OD.NIH.GOV):
- Application form. Please download the application form and save a copy to edit directly to the PDF document.
- Two-page concept paper proposing a CBPR project that carefully outlines the community partner with whom they plan to work and their past association with the partner. The statement should also address the significance of the project for health disparities, if applicable.
- Curriculum vitae
- Signed letter of support from your Dean or Department Chair
- One-page Personal Statement describing your research and career interests and how this course will benefit them
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS ELECTRONICALLY: NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT ON May 7, 2007. SUMMER INSTITUTE PROGRAM PLANNING COMMITTEE WILL SELECT AWARDEES AND NOTIFY THEM BY THE END OF MAY.

Costs
No fee is charged for the Summer Institute Program. Travel expenses, room and board, and materials will be covered by NIH.
