Dr. Ana Diez Roux is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Epidemiology in the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Her work focuses on the environmental factors of health, including factors such as social epidemiology; neighborhood health effects; air pollution and cardiovascular risk; and race/ethnic disparities. She is also the Director of the Center for Integrative Approaches to Health Disparities and the Center for Social Epidemiology and Population Health.

Dr. Diez Roux is the Director of the Center for Integrative Approaches to Health Disparities and the Center for Social Epidemiology and Population Health.
Diez Roux's work focuses on the environmental factors of health, including factors such as social epidemiology; neighborhood health effects; air pollution and cardiovascular risk; and race/ethnic disparities.
One of Dr. Diez Roux's funded pilot studies is The Jackson Heart Study, examining the association of psychosocial stress and obesity in African American Men and Women.
