Kathryn (Kate) McNeill, MA
Public Health Advisor
Kate McNeill is a Public Health Advisor in the Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research at the National Institutes of Health. In her role, she focuses mainly on managing the OBSSR budget, developing and managing contracts, and providing planning and operational oversight and support. Kate joined the Federal Government in 2004 as a Health Communications Intern in the Office of Science Planning and Assessment (OSPA) at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). After completing the internship program, Kate transitioned to the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) and worked in the Office of the Director, the Behavioral Research Program, and the Healthcare Delivery Research Program. In DCCPS, Kate conducted budget planning, developed and managed contracts, and facilitated funding agreements with other NIH institutes and external federal agencies.
