Overview

Kaye Husbands Fealing, Assistant Director of the Directorate for Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences (SBE) at the National Science Foundation (NSF), will give an overview of the organization. The meeting will also highlight some ongoing collaborations between the National Institutes of Health and SBE.

About the BSSR-CC

The NIH Behavioral and Social Sciences Research Coordinating Committee (BSSR-CC) aims to enhance the exchange of information, communication, integration, and coordination of behavioral and social sciences research and training at NIH. The committee holds alternating closed and open meetings each month.

During open BSSR-CC sessions, members of the public are welcome to attend. These meetings focus on topics relevant for the research community awareness and discussion.
