The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has recently released updates to the Good Clinical Practice (GCP) for Social and Behavioral Research eLearning Course. Melissa Riddle, Ph.D., from the NIH presented an overview of the course and explained the updates, which include:
- Additional training on regulatory changes and reporting requirements.
- Enhanced accessibility features.
- A new module on community and stakeholder engagement.
The course materials are available for free to NIH-funded researchers, NIH employees, and educational institutions through various platforms.

About the Coordinating Committee
The NIH Behavioral and Social Sciences Research Coordinating Committee (BSSR-CC) works to enhance the exchange of information, communication, integration, and coordination of behavioral and social sciences research and training at NIH. The BSSR-CC holds alternating closed and open meetings each month. During open BSSR-CC sessions, members of the public are welcome to attend. These meetings focus on topics relevant for the research community awareness and discussion.
