OBSSR Science of Behavior Series

OBSSR Annual BSSR Research Festival Poster

The Science of Behavior Series showcases the latest, cutting-edge behavioral and social sciences research (BSSR) funded at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The series highlights the importance and impact of this research and connects OBSSR's partners, the behavioral and social sciences community, and NIH Institutes and Centers with research that's shaping human health and well-being.

Each webinar is designed to:

  • Highlight recent research results, emerging scientific areas, and health innovations.
  • Explore how NIH-funded BSSR is improving human health and well-being.
  • Leverage NIH's collective resources and expertise to advance its mission.

The series is organized by the Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (OBSSR) in partnership with the NIH Behavioral and Social Sciences Research Coordinating Committee (BSSR-CC). With members representing the breadth of NIH's research community, the BSSR-CC helps ensure the series reflects the range of behavioral and social sciences work happening across NIH.

This series was formerly known as the NIH Behavioral and Social Sciences Research Festival and builds on its legacy. Visit our Past NIH BSSR Festivals page to explore past agendas and session recordings.
