The OBSSR encourages basic and applied behavioral and social sciences research through involvement, coordination, and participation in NIH-wide funding opportunity announcements.
The OBSSR does not award grants, but it provides funding support to the NIH Institutes and Centers via its co-funding program. Through this program, OBSSR assists the NIH Institutes and Centers in supporting rigorous behavioral and social science research consistent with the OBSSR Strategic Plan.
