Brief Biography:
Paula Roberts serves as a program analyst at OBSSR. She tracks co-funding requests and acts as the office manager. Before joining OBSSR, Paula worked at the Center for Scientific Review as an administrative assistant with the Health of the Population Integrated Review Group (HOP IRG), which later became the Population Sciences and Epidemiology Integrated Review Group (PSE IRG). In that role, she partnered with the chief and IRG staff to facilitate the review of grant applications, including coordinating review meetings. She also was the main contact for all administrative matters involving external reviewers. Roberts joined OBSSR as a data analyst for the NIH Basic Behavioral and Social Sciences Opportunity Network (OppNet), where she managed budget tracking, planning, and overall project management. She earned her bachelor’s degree in social sciences from the University of Guyana in Georgetown, Guyana.
